new year!

Year 2011 has been awesome and full of amazing surprises!

As i await for 2012, i claim that God will continue to reign in all of my mission trips, my family, and the rest of my heart’s desires.

I am enjoying this time of Christmas vacation with the parents while on the side working online, yay! I get to bond really with my parents, attending mass with them, cooking for them, watching telenovelas with them (crying too with Nanay for the telenovelas) and going out and just eating out with them. Catching up with family updates and chismis, i mean fun stories and experiences is also part of this awesome time with the parents.

Today, i colored Nanay’s hair. yay!

hair color on my index finger. yay!

What do you love doing with your family? 🙂

Heard this song while finishing our Christmas shopping. We got in the cab and this was the song being played on the radio.

I’m happy when song writers include God’s name in their songs. This one is a love song and its just nice listening to it and hearing God as part of the whole love story. yay! I tried searching for the chords too. yay! It’s easy to play, now i miss my guitar.

What song makes you smile now? 🙂

Novena to St. Therese of Lisieux

Who’s your Saint Buddy? Mine is St Therese of Lisieux, also known as The Little Flower.

Sharing with you here a very short, yet very powerful Novena prayer to St Therese which i always pray especially in times of great challenge. She listens. And she definitely intercedes.

St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick me a rose from the heavenly garden and

send it to me with a message of love; ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore and

tell Him I will love Him each day more and more.

taken in Lisieux in the Mt. Carmel convent where St Therese lived and died at the age of 24

Pray to St Therese and you’ll be surprise how she intercedes and answers prayers. 🙂

Who’s your Saint Buddy?

great stuff! brought Nanay to the doctor, washed clothes, cooked dinner for the fam (and i cooked really healthy good dinner), hanged out with Nanay watching her telenovelas and we both slept on it (lol) and had a good chat with my brother! Thank you Lord for the privilege to really be “part” of my family now. yey! the joy of being a daughter and a sister. 🙂 love your family friends! God bless.
